Detroit’s top pick in this years draft Beau Burrows from Weatherford, Texas made his seventh appearance since signing going three innings.  The 18-year old allowed one run on two hits while walking one and striking out two.  His pro record now stands at 1-0 with a 2.05 era in the Gulf Coast League.

Yes, Say its Stro!

 Blue Jays RHP Marcus Stroman threw off a mound for the first time on Tuesday since tearing his left ACL during PFP drills in spring training.  Stroman also went through all the drills of the other rehab pitchers at the Mattick Complex including a couple of long tosses from close to 200-feet.

Saunders Rehab Update

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Michael Saunders (left knee) moved his workouts outside for the first time since going on the 15-day DL May 10.  After making about 25 throws Saunders returned inside at the team’s Mattick Complex to complete his daily workouts showing no ill effects.
