BLUE JAYS DECLINE OPTIONS ON GREGG

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have declined options on RHP KEVIN GREGG making him a free agent. The Blue Jays held club options of US $5.25 million for 2011, or a two year option of US $9.5 million for 2011 and 2012.

        GREGG, 32, posted a 2-6 record with 37 saves and a 3.51 ERA last season with the Blue Jays. In eight major league seasons, the Corvallis, Oregon native has recorded 122 saves with a 4.03 ERA in 406 games for Anaheim, Florida, the Chicago Cubs and Toronto.
