Canadian Junior Team in Dunedin

(RSE)–Right-hander Tom Robson of Ladner, BC, Canada got the start Wednesday October 20, 2010 for Canada’s National Junior Baseball at the Toronto Blue Jay’s Englebert Complex in Dunedin. The 17-year old, who is expected to be taken in next year’s amateur draft, went just 2 1/3 of an inning allowing four runs on seven hits and struck out four. Robson appeared a bit rusty according to one major league scout facing a split-squad of Blue Jays Instructional League players. DUNEDIN, Fl. (RSE)–Junior Team Canada outfielder Gareth Morgan doesn’t connect against the Toronto Blue Jays RHP Myles Jaye on Wednesday October 20, 2010. Morgan, who resides in Toronto appeared a bit nervous at the plate as you might expect him to be, he is only 14-years old. According to Team Canada officials they are in process for selecting their 2011 squad. Morgan who played right field during the game is 6’2″ and tips the scales at 185.
