Cobb goes 5 1/3
By Eddie Michels on March 22, 2017Tampa Bay Rays starter Alex Cobb went 5 1/3 innings on Monday allowing three runs on six hits while walking one and striking out five. Cobb had “Tommy John Surgery” in May of 2015 returning to the Rays during a September call up last year.
Frazier later scored on John Jaso’s home run to right on a 3-1 pitch. In the bottom of the ninth Frazier walked, stole second then scored on Gift Ngoepe’s single to right center to give the Pirates a 5-4 win over the visiting Rays.
