Dirk Hayhurst signs with Rays

The Tampa Bay Rays signed free agent pitcher Dirk Hayhurst to a minor league deal. Hayhurst, the author of the stellar book, and NY Times bestseller, “The Bullpen Gospels” appears he will begin assignment at the triple A level. Hayhurst spent last year with the Toronto Blue Jays in Dunedin doing rehab from shoulder surgery .

Back in October, Dirk Hayhust was a guest on the Rocket Sports & Entertainment Network (RSEN) live ESPN1040am. When Hayhurst was asked if he would be ready in the spring, he replied, “Oh yea! Absolutley.” Little did e know it would be in Tampa
