Dunedin’s got Heart, Purple Heart

On August 3, 2006 Dunedin, Flroida became our nations First Purple Heart City and on August 8, 2008 it dedicated the monument shown in the photo at the city’s Purple Heart Park. Mal Clingan (R) Commander of the John F. Kennedy Post 1963 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart and Mike Vieli (L) post member flank the monument. Wednesday August 7, 2019 was the 12th ceremony held at the park honoring those awarded the Purple Heart.
