Osprey and Dogs in Dunedin

By on January 10, 2019

The Happy Tails Dog Park in Dunedin at the Vanech Complex will soon be a thing of the past.  Since the new Paws Park opened on Virginia St. on Monday this park, open since 2003 will be a thing of the past.  “We donated trees, bricks and chairs which we aren’t going to be able to take to the new park,” said one regular visitor with her dog who requested to remain anonymous.  The bricks are small memorials to the dogs who were regulars at the soon to be closed park.  One person mentioned that the park become a parking lot when the Blue Jays take over the residents owned park.

t appears that the nest fell off the light tower when it was lowered to the ground sometime on Tuesday or Wednesday.
