DUNEDIN, FLA.– Below, Lefty Sean Nolin (groin) made his first rehab start on Monday July 14, 2014 for the rookie level GCL Blue Jays.
Nolin threw 2 1/3 shut out innings, allowing one hit and striking out five on 31-pitches with a fast ball that topped out at 94 MPH. He allowing only one base runner via an error.
“I feel okay,” said Nolin after pitching, “I don’t know where I am going to pitch next.”
Nolin was selected by the Blue Jays in the sixth round of the 2010 draft.

Another son of a former major leaguer is Dean Bell son of Toronto Blue Jays slugger George Bell. Like Luke Dykstra, Dean is also a second baseman while their fathers were outfielders. Dean is shown keeping his eye sharp when not playing on Monday July 14, 2014 by standing in during a bullpen session. (Eddie Michels photo)
