Eddie Michels: Rehab Update — Casey Jassen & Dustin McGowan

DUNEDIN, Fl. (RSEN) — Toronto right handed pitchers Casey Jassen and Dustin McGowan continue thier rehab program.

Janssen (sore right forearm) threw his last bullpen session in Dunedin on Monday prior to leaving on Tuesday to start a rehab assignment with Double-A New Hampshire.  Having last pitched on June 14, Janssen is 2-0 with a 2.93 era and one save.

McGowan throws a bullpen session Monday prior to his second rehab start on Wednesday for Class-A Dunedin.

McGowan who had no problems during his first start for Dunedin Saturday is again scheduled to throw two innings/35-pitches.  (editor’s note: correction, upon publishing Casey Jassen in below photo was misidentified, correction has been made)
