Blue Jays lefty J. A. Happ (back) threw a 30-pitch bullpen session on Monday April 7, 2014 with no problems at the team’s minor league complex. “It’s still up in the air,” said Happ of his next rehab start, “It’s either Double-A or Triple-A.” Happ made his first rehab start for Class-A Dunedin on Friday April 5, 2014 where he went five innings allowing two runs on three hits while walking one and striking out five, getting the win. DUNEDIN, FLA.–Below, Right-hander Shawn Hill threw what he called a “Short side session,” on Monday April 7, 2014 at the Blue Jays minor league complex. A sixth round pick by the Expos in 2000 the Mississaguh, Ontario native is one of a few players who have played for both Canadian major league teams.
Blue Jays prospect Roberto Osuna is getting closer to returning to game action as he threw his fourth bullpen session on Monday April 7, 2014 at the team’s minor league complex. Osuna had “Tommy John Surgery” last July after going 3-5 with a 5.53 at Class-A Lansing.
