Eric Chavez Signs with the Yankees

TAMPA, Fl. (RSE)–Six time Gold Glove infielder Eric Chavez speaks with reporters at the New York Yankees minor league in Tampa on Friday February 11, 2011.  Signed as a free agent by the Yankees last Friday said, “The workouts have been going good.”  All six of Chavez Gold Gloves have been at third base.  Chavez might also get some time at first this season as a backup on the infield.
