TAMPA, Fla.– New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter (broken left ankle) took ground balls on today at the team’s minor league complex.  After taking a number of grounders on the grass Jeter moved back to the stripped part of the infield and appeared to have no problems fielding or with limited lateral movement.
