Flying Tigers Oh My, Beat Duendin

DUNEDIN, FLA.–The Dunedin Blue Jays dropped a 9-8 decision to the Lakeland Flying Tigers Thursday night in the opening game of a three game series. Dunedin starter Jeremy Gabryswski went 5 2/3 innings allowing six runs, five earned on eight hits while walking two and striking out three. Leading the Jays offense were Anthony Alford who went 2-3 with two walks, a triple and two RBI while Christian Lopes was 2-5 with a homer and three RBI. Lakeland’s Tyler Ford got the win while Griffin Murphy took the loss for Dunedin. The same two teams go at it in game two of the series on Friday at 6:30 PM.
