Jays sign Ortiz and Langerhans

Ramon Ortiz a 39 year-old right handed pitcher, spent the 2012 season with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre of the International League (AAA) in the New York Yankees organization. The right-hander posted a 13-6 record with a 3.45 ERA in 27 starts. In 11 Major League seasons with Anaheim, Cincinnati, Washington, Minnesota, Colorado, Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs he has recorded an 86-84 record with a 4.93 ERA in 296 games (214 starts).
Outfielder Ryan Langerhans a 32 year-old, spent most of 2012 with Salt Lake of the Pacific Coast League (AAA) in the Angels organization, posting a .250 average with 11 home runs and 54 RBI. The left-handed hitter has appeared in 593 Major League games for Atlanta, Oakland, Washington, Seattle and the Los Angeles Angels, batting .226 with 33 home runs and 125 RBI.
