CLEARWATER, Fla.– Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Jim Thome rehabs at Brighthouse Field in Clearwater.   Thome battling a lower back injury began rehab in Clearwater with the Threshers went 1 for 3 and walked Friday night in his first rehab game.

Also beginning rehab Michael Martinez who finally is getting some playing time was 1 for 4 with a run.
