Kingery’s bat not Enough

Clearwater, Fla. –  Scott Kingery had a couple hits and a couple RBI but right-hander Mark Appel (right) took the loss on Friday as the Phillies dropped a 4-3 decision to the Twins at Spectrum Field.  Appel went two and two thirds innings allowing one run on three hits and striking out two in the loss.
Phillies great Mike Schmidt spent some time doing the spring thing and signing for the fans.
