Vet and Prospect working Out

Two time CY Young winner Johana Santana made it through his first week of throwing off a mound on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with no problems.  “I’m one day closer,” said Santana who might be able to throw a bullpen session in 2-3 weeks.

Guadalupe Chavez of El Fuerte Sinaloa, Mexico may only be 17-years old but he throws like a veteran.  He started and threw a shutout inning against a Phillies extended spring squad on Friday.
