DUNEDIN, Fla.–Toronto Blue Jays RHP Brandon Morrow threw five-plus innings for Triple-A Las Vegas against Indianapolis and Pittsburgh Pirates RHP Jeff Karstans Tuesday at the Mattick Training Center.  Sporting a 95 MPH fastball Morrow allowed two unearned runs on four hits while walking three and striking out seven on 95-pitches, 59-strikes.  “It felt great I got to get up and down six times,” said Morrow, “I was trying to mix my pitches and when I missed I was able to keep them off balance.”  Karstans went seven innings allowing three hits while walking two and striking out 10 on 98-pitches.  Both pitchers were pitching in minor league games to avoid major league opponents, Karstans the Phillies and Morrow the Yankees.
