Oil Can, Bichette and Creedon

CLEARWATER, FLA.– (above, EDDIE MICHELS PHOTO) Hurler Oil Can Boyd (L) greets Dante Bichette prior to the two former major leaguers teams playing against each other in the Men’s Senior Baseball League Fall Classic.  Boyd didn’t pitch against Bichette because he had pitched on Monday and played second in an earlier game on Tuesday at age 56.  Bichette is a regular at the MSBL tournament while Boyd, the former Expo runs a baseball camp in Rhode Island.  Their game was being played at the Joe DiMaggio Complex in Clearwater.

He retired from the US Air Force but Bob Creedon still stays active. Here Bob is pitching for the Montgomery County Yankees in the 2015 Men’s Senior Baseball league Fall Classic at the Toronto Blue Jays Mattick Complex on Tuesday. (EDDIE MICHELS PHOTO)
