Rays in a Quickie
By ROCKET SPORTS and ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK on March 18, 2023St. Petersburg, Fla. — It only took two hours and one minute to finish eight- and one-half innings at Tropicana Field this afternoon for the Tampa Rays to beat the Boston Red Sox 3-1.
With only ten total hits in the game, both teams must be pleased with the pitching performances and Rays staff combining for 15 K’s.
The Boston lone run was a homer off the bat Gilberto Jiminez of McClanahan in the third.
This now makes it six in a row at home this spring. Maybe The Trop every year for spring? Sorry Port Charlotte.
The Rays look to make it seven in a row Sunday vs Toronto.
