REG-GIE REG-GIE for the Kids!
By Eddie Michels on October 15, 2016
Former Oakland A’s teammates Reggie Jackson and Darold Knowles shake after the Hall of Famer Jackson signs baseballs for Knowles. Knowles requested the signing to benefit the Dunedin Children’s Christmas Fund’s annual fundraiser on November 12th, the 23rd Annual Veterans Day Golf Tournament at Dunedin Country Club. Jackson may be in Cooperstown but Knowles does have one in the plus column. He is the only pitcher in world series history to pitch in all seven games of a world series which he did for the A’s in their 1973 win over the Mets.
