Rogers the Twin Scorpion

Minnesota Twins prospect Taylor Rogers was the winning pitcher for the Scottsdale Scorpions in Saturday’s Arizona Fall League championship game. Rogers, who is the Twins’ No. 13 prospect according to MLBPipeline.com, twirled three shutout innings Saturday, allowing two hits and striking out a pair of batters. The 24-year-old concluded his AFL regular season with a 2-2 record, 2.88 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 25 innings of work.
