Pitcher of Week for Brew Crew’s Hader

Milwaukee Brewers prospect Josh Hader has been named the Arizona Fall League’s Pitcher of the Week for Week 4. The lanky lefty allowed just one hit and struck out seven batters in four innings over the course of two relief appearances this week; his Arizona Fall League ERA now stands at 0.90 through 10 innings. Hader, whose fastball has reportedly been clocked at up to 96 MPH, has fanned 15 batters during that time, while holding opponents to a miniscule .118 batting average. The 21-year-old is currently ranked as Milwaukee’s No. 14 prospect by MLBPipeline.com, but he could ascend quickly if his AFL dominance carries over into next season.
