DUNEDIN, Fla.– (RSE) Sliding drills led off workouts on Tuesday at the Englebert Complex as even the 2010 major league home run champion Jose Bautista taking part.

 
BLUE JAYS NOTES: RHP Dustin McGowan continues his comeback throwing his fourth bullpen session even mixing in a breaking ball or two. …”The path he has transgressed has been a long one,” said manager John Farrell of his three surgery’s. …Jon Roach (right ankle) will throw another bullpen on Friday then get into a game next week. …With the switch from left field to first Adam Lind is progressing in Farrell’s eyes.  “He’s transition to first is coming along well through repatation, he will be okay.”  Lind on the switch to first, “It’s different than hanging out in left field.” …The Blue Jays open their spring schedule on Saturday against the Tigers with a 1:05 PM start.
