Springtime for Blue Jays

DUNEDIN, FLA.–Above,Blue Jays manager John Gibbons met with the media on the First Day of Spring today and was ask about RHP Dustin McGowan.  “We really want to stretch him out a couple of innings in the pen,” said Gibbons making the off injured hurler a long reliever.  McGowan has spent the better part of five of the pas six seasons on the DL or rehabbing.  At one point he stated that he knew every blade of grass at the team’s minor league complex by their first name.
