West Point’s Rowley is Bright Spot
By Eddie Michels on April 10, 2016Chris Rowley was the one Dunedin Blue Jays bright spot on Sunday during a 7-0 loss to the Clearwater Threshers. Rowley, a 2013 grad of West Point, went 2 1/3 innings allowing two hits while striking out two. Dunedin could only muster three hits off four Clearwater hurlers as their record dropped to 2-2 during the FSL season. Dunedin hits the road Monday to St. Lucie returning on Friday April 15th to host the Palm Beach Cardinals at 6:30 PM.
Dunedin lefty Jose Fernandez struggled but made it through 2 2/3 innings against Clearwater on Sunday during the 7-0 loss. Fernandez was touched for two runs on four hits while walking two and striking out one.
