World Series Night Three: Finally No Issues… NASSE WINS!

Stephen Nasse and Kyle Benjamin put on a show
New Smyrna Beach, Fla. — The Super Late Models were at it again for the third night in a row at New Smyrna Speedway, and finally we would have a night with no technical issues.
South Florida resident and NASCAR Truck series driver Joey Coulter would set fast time ahead of Kyle Benjamin and Stephen Nasse. The invert would be 6, giving Jake Griffin the pole, followed by Wallace, Rogers, points leader Devin McLeod, Nasse, Benjamin and finally Coulter.
Three cars would pull off the track before the start, including last night’s winner Devin McLeod. Griffin would slide back at the start, Nasse under Wallace will lead the first and all 35 laps. Benjamin passes Luedtke for fourth, while Coulter looks to take second from Wallace. Rogers is fifth at the halfway mark. Pole sitter Griffin will park it for the night, while McLeod returns many laps down. A caution comes out on lap 15 and slows the field down. The ensuing restart has Nasse pulling away, while Benjamin works Coulter. Benjamin gets Coulter and by lap 30 gets Wallace and sets his sights on Nasse.
Lap 31 caution, here we go. It’s Nasse and Benjamin again, like the Pete Orr Memorial and Friday night. Nasse has the preferred outside line and hold Benjamin off. A great side by side battle for the final 3 laps and Nasse wins.
