The biggest fundraiser of the season, Pitch For Pink returns to Bright House Field on July 22 at 6:30 p.m. when the Fort Myers Miracle come to Clearwater. As done in the past, the Threshers will wear special pink uniforms to support the fight against breast cancer. The jerseys, along with various other specialty items will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the Morton Plant Mease Foundation.

 

This year’s Pitch For Pink will feature a new pre-game event designed to raise more money and allow more members of the community to contribute. A celebrity softball game will be played at 4:30 p.m. as several media personalities and professional athletes have committed to participating. Anyone can play in the game for $200 with all proceeds going to the foundation.
