Greetings!

Check out what’s going on with the Clearwater Threshers at Bright House Field with our weekly newsletter.

Country Night This Friday!

The Clearwater Threshers are pleased to host Country Night on August 5, 2011 which will feature a post-game concert by recording artist Chase Rice. The performance will begin after the Threshers play a 6:30 p.m. contest against Tampa Yankees at Bright House Field.

Chase Rice released a full length album titled Friday Night and Sunday Mornings in 2009 and Country as Me earlier this year which features his top hit, “Buzz Back”. He is a young, up-and-coming artist who is gaining prominence in the Nashville, Tenn. area. Fans may already be familiar with Rice who was on the cast of Survivor: Nicaragua in 2010 and placed second on the CBS program.

There will be a mechanical bull at the ballpark and fans can enter in various bull-riding contests for prizes. Also, the first 100 fans 21 and over will receive a free 17 oz. cowboy boot mug which can be used to for a $2 draft beer special all night long! For other fans, 100 cowboy hats will be available at the gates.

Landshark, Wild Turkey, and Jeremiah Weed will all be $3 all night and there will be a special appearance by Miss Rodeo Florida Sammie Roberts!
