Cito Culver, NY Yankees #1 pick shows Hustle
By Eddie Michels on April 28, 2011 DUNEDIN, FL.–The New York Yankees first pick in last June’s draft Cito Culver looks like he popped one up Thursday during an extended spring game against the Blue Jays in Dunedin. Unfortunately there was a strong wind from the south that blew the shallow fly to right field over to the right field foul line where it fell in fair territory. Culver, who was running right out of the batters box, ended up with a stand up triple putting creditability in the old adage to always run them out. (Photo by EDDIE MICHELS)
