Easter Sunday Work

Blue Jays outfielder Michael Saunders (left knee) singles to right but doesn't run it out on the last day of minor league camp on Sunday.  Saunders went 2-5 playing for Double-A New Hampshire against Triple-A Buffalo.  "Tentatively I will DH for (Class-A) Dunedin on Thursday," said Saunders who tore up his left knee on February 25th shagging balls on Field One at the Mattick Complex. Blue Jays fifth starter Aaron Sanchez tossed three shutout innings in his final tune up for the regular season on Sunday.  "Good, it's exactly what I needed going into the season," said Sanchez, "I felt on top of my game and did some things out there I wanted to accomplish.  I feel strong going into the year."  As to his first regular season start in five days Sanchez said, "I'm ready to go, I am excited.  We have a chance to do a lot of good things this year so to be a part of that I am ready to go."
