Eddie Down Under

TAMPA, FLA.–Queensland native Nathan Hass is finishing up his first season of pro ball in the US with the rookie level Braves of the Gulf Coast League.  With their season ending in just over two weeks the 19-year old is looking towards return home.  “I’ll have about a week off when I get home then I hope to be playing for Brisbane in the ABL (Australian Baseball League),” said Hass.

MLB will open the 2014 season down under in Sydney with Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Sydney Cricket ground.
