DUNEDIN, Fla.–Sandy Alomar Sr. a.k.a. the “Iron Pony” hits fungos to Toronto Blue Jays minor league infielders while his son Hall of Fame second baseman Roberto instructs the prospects in the right way of fielding the ball.  Former AL MVP and All Star George Bell had been hitting fungos but gave way to the 67-year old Alomar also an All Star saying, “Here is a real fungo hitter.” (Photo by Eddie Michels)
