Heads up Hutchison, Jays Win Twice

(Above) Blue Jays RHP Drew Hutchinson draws a crowd on the mound after catcher AJ Jiminez’s throw to catch a base stealer in the bottom of the fifth hit him in the head.  Jiminez’s throw hit Hutchinson on the left side of the back of his head.  “I’m fine it’s just one of those things that happen,” said Hutchinson in the clubhouse afterwards.  “Its never happened to me before but I have seen it happen, I’m fine.”  Hutchinson went four-plus innings allowing one run on one hit while walking three and striking out two.  The Jays won the game 7-3 with the Rays committing four errors and the Jays three.  The Jays also wound up with a win seeing that Hutchison ended up OK.

The Jays are home on Monday to face the Phillies at 1:07 PM
