This photo shows a kindergarten class room of Curtis Fundamental Elementary School on the left and an uncompleted bar at  TD Ballpark spring training home of the Blue Jays in Dunedin on the right.  No only do the two sites share a common boundary but students can look up into the bar area while fans can look down into the school grounds while drinking.  If this isn’t bad enough it has been learned that according to school employees baseballs landing on the school grounds during batting practice and games can not be kept by students.  According to school officials the Blue Jays have told them they must return the baseballs to them.  Three class rooms and a small playground border the ballpark

The new scoreboard nears competition at TD Ballpark at Grant Field the spring training home of the Toronto Blue Jays. In the back ground you can see that the new seats are being installed. They are flip up seats not the solid “L” shape that had been used since the stadiums original construction in 1990. (EDDIE MICHELS PHOTO)
