Osuna’s First Start in Dunedin
By Eddie Michels on August 3, 2014![DUNEDIN, Fl.--RHP prospect Roberto Osuna allowed three runs in his first start for Class-A Dunedin just a year and six days after "Tommy John Surgery." Signed as a free agent in 2011 out of Sinaloa, Mx. Osuna used his fastball that topped out at 96 MPH to allow four hits, walk one and struck out five over 3 1/3 innings throwing 54-pitches. "No, no problems," said the 19-year old afterwards, "I'll pitch next Wednesday (8-6-14) in Lakeland." As Osuna left the field for the clubhouse the Dunedin bullpen in mass greeted him saying, "Welcome Back."
