A-ROD MAKES SECOND REHAB START
By Eddie Michels on August 14, 2011DUNEDIN, Fla.—Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez went 0-3 with a walk, two strike outs and scored a run in his second rehab start for Class-A Tampa Saturday.
Playing against Dunedin was 2-6 overall in his first two game since surgery to his right knee on July 14.
“I think it was a better more natural progression for me,” said Rodriguez of delaying in the field another day. “I think being the DH was wise.”
Rodriguez will do situational work at the Yankees Himes Ave. Complex on Sunday at 10 AM. “We’re just going to let it fly a bit tomorrow, said Rodriguez..
