Nick started playing baseball at the age of 5 has not looked back; he has a drive and passion for the game that is unmatched in most athletes his age. Nick was a standout player for the Wadsworth Grizzlies. He played on the Varsity squad all four years and racked up 25 wins and 3 losses (the 25 wins is a school record that lasted for 32 years). His career ERA is a staggering 1.30 and didn’t give up a walk in 35 innings pitched. When Nick was 16 he was named CABA World Series “Most Valuable Pitcher” in which he tossed a no hitter/shutout.
While many schools recruited Nick he decided to stay somewhat close to home and attend Walsh University. As a Freshman is his slotted on their Varsity Squad and his is the Number 2 Starter. This summer Nick will travel to Myrtle Beach where he will be playing in the Beach Collegiate Baseball League for the Palmetto Generals.
Nicks obvious goal is to land in the Majors and according those close to him he has the
work ethic, the dedication and Love of the Game to make it happen. I’ve asked around and everybody I’ve talked to said the same thing about Nick… HE is a Hard working kid with a drive to succeed.
Nick…from all of us here at Rocket Sport and Entertainment we wish the best of luck in all you do! Continue to work for your dreams and GREAT things will happen.
