Santiago and Izturis

Toronto Blue Jays infielders Ramon Santiago (L) and Maicer Izturis  were all smiles on Wednesday at the team’s Mattick Complex.  Santiago, who is rehabbing from a broken left collarbone during spring training had a bat in his hands for the first time since March and hit off a tee in the batting cage.  Izturis (groin injury) on the other hand said “I will be playing (rehab assignment) in Dunedin (Blue Jays) on Monday, probably DH’ing.”  Izturis knows the Mattick Complex well as in 2014 he spent the entire summer there rehabbing his left knee he hurt in a game in April prior to the groin injury this past March during spring training.
