SEVEN
By Joshua Ott on February 7, 2016MYYYY GAWWWDDDD!! *Head nodding, shoulders swaying, eyes closed and fists clenched….that’s my reaction when I hear a track produced by Strange Music Producer Seven. I love producers like Dr. Dre, Mannie Fresh, Rick Rubin and RZA, to name a few, but there is something with Seven that pulls me in and keeps me in a trance like state like no other. Seven has been evolved, he has morphed and he turned into a true chameleon in the booth.
Seven has been around for years and I don’t think he gets nearly enough credit and recognition as deserved. It is about time he is recognized and I wanted to take a moment to do just that. You can go to his Wiki page if you want to know about his basic info, I could regurgitate what others have said or I could do what I am about to do….let his music do the talking, because there are few words that can be used to truly describe how incredibly talented and diverse Seven really is. Rather it’s a Club Party track or a Speed Rap or a heavy guitar riffed track, Seven does it to an OCD type perfection.
It isn’t about number one hits or album sales for me, no, it’s about what hits the dark side of my soul, what moves me, what motivates me and what changes my overall perception of life. I have not heard a single track produced by seven that hasn’t done one of the above mentioned mood altering states. I understand that music affects each of us differently but there is no denying that Strange Music has something unique and special in Seven. He has the ability to bridge the gap between one style to another in a way that all, not just hip-hop or Rap or Metal, or pop fans, but all music lovers can appreciate.
I’m about to give you a list of tracks you MUST play, keep this in mind while listening to the songs, the best way to support all of these artist is to see them play live, go to their sites and purchase their music, merchandise and tell your friends, family and enemies to do the same.
Without further ado… I present to you, I show respect and shine light on SEVEN!!!

I’ve given you a sample of what this dynamic producer can do, and as you can hear he is capable of just about anything. I’m excited to see what he does in the future because if his past is any indication of what lies ahead there is going to be an impressive library of music coming out over the next 20 years. I don’t see Seven slowing down or leaving the scene, no… I see “SOMETHING ELSE”… I see him having a hand in reshaping not just Rap but all forms of music.
