Slow Start for St. Pete

CLEARWATER, FLA.–Pitching for St. Petersburg College at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium in Clearwater on Wednesday Matt Brown took the loss in a 8-0 victory by Pasco-Hernando State College.  Brown, a native of Oakville, Ont. went 6.1 innings allowing four runs, all earned on nine hits while walking one and striking out nine and sporting a 94 MPH fastball according to scouts present.  St. Petersburg College is 0-6 since the start of the 2023 spring season.
