State College Blanks St. Pete

CLEARWATER, FLA.–Canadian Matt Brown’s record dropped to 4-5 on Friday as he took the St. Pete College’s loss to State College of Florida 8-0 at Jack Russell Stadium.  Brown went six innings allowing eight runs, six earned on 11-hits while walking two and striking out seven.  With a group of professional and college scouts present Brown’s fastball topped out at 92 MPH.  Kelsen Johnson and Brett Wagner were the only two St. Pete players with multiple hits games, each had two hits.
