LAKELAND, FLA.–Montreal native Jesen Therrien (above and below) stretched out his sixth start of the season to a span of 16-days but still dropped a Phillies 4-2 GCL decision to the Tigers today in Lakeland.  The game originally started on August 1 but was suspended in Clearwater after three innings by rain.  The game resumed Friday with the score tied at two and Therrien still on the mound.  Despite being in and out of trouble during his five additional innings on the mound Therrien made only one real mistake a two run homer in the sixth that sealed his fate.  This season his record now stands at 2-3 with a 5.77 ERA. over nine games.
