Westwood Solid in Dunedin
By Eddie Michels on April 17, 2016RHP Kyle Westwood, recently signed by the Blue Jays after being released by the Astros organization threw six solid innings as the Dunedin Blue Jays beat the Palm Beach Cardinals 3-2 in 13 innings. Westwood, from nearby Tarpon Springs, Florida allowed two runs over six innings on the mound on eight hits while walking one and striking out two. Westwood was followed to the mound by Alonzo Gonzalez who tossed four perfect innings when Chris Rowley added another three perfect innings to get the win. The same two teams meet for the third game of their four game set on Sunday with the first pitch scheduled for 1 PM.
