Former City of Dunedin Park Left in Ruin

By on December 19, 2020

This area which was once a children’s playground and parking lot at the citizen owned Louis A. Vanech Park in Dunedin, Fl. is still in disrepair.  The area up until a couple of months ago was used as the area for the construction trailers as the Toronto Blue Jays new spring training complex was being built.  The area prior to the construction was also used by the parents of the neighboring Garrison-Jones Elementary School to wait to pick up their children after school was dismissed.  Now the parents must wait in their cars on Garrison Rd. to pick up their children.  With what now appears to be limited parking at the new Blue Jays complex maybe this area could be used for parking for the fans when school is not in session.
