Hague and Dirks Workout in Florida

Below, first baseman/pinch hitter Matt Hague gets in some early throwing at the Blue Jays Mattick Complex in Dunedin. Picked up off the waiver wire from the Pirates last August 18th and Hague finished the season with Triple-A Buffalo. Hague played two games with Pittsburgh in 2014.
And below, left fielder Andy Dirks plays catch at the Blue Jays Mattick Complex between rain drops on Thursday February 5, 2015. Dirks was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 8th round in the 2008 amateur draft out of Wichita State University. He was selected off waivers by the Blue Jays from the Tigers last October 31st and was granted free agency on December 2, 2014. Dirks then signed as a free agent with the Blue Jays this January 15th. Dirks played in 131 games in 2013 with the Tigers batting .256 with 9 homers and 37 RBI.
