Howard joins Utley

Howard went 2-4 with two walks batted leadoff for the games first six innings while Utley batted fourth. Howard didn't do any base running all though in the second inning he did take a couple of steps towards first
CLEARWATER, Fla.–Phillies 2B Chase Utley (right knee) goes 2-5 with a homer (picture below), a double, a walk and a strike out in his second extended spring game, this one against a Blue Jays squad. With threatning skies, the game was played at Bright House Network Field the spring training home of the Phillies. Utley was joined by Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard who made his first appearance in a game when he grounded out. Teammates asked Howard why he was on his way back to the dugout, he replied, “I did it out of habit.”
