McGowan’s Rehab Assignment Stopped

DUNEDIN, Fla.–Toronto Blue Jays RHP Dustin McGowan (right shoulder) throws long toss after his last rehab start for Class-A Dunedin on Monday. In six appearances McGowan posted an 0-2 record with a 3.55 ERA, walking six and striking out 13. McGowan whose rehab assignment was stopped will now pitch in a simulated game on Saturday against Toronto’s Gulf Coast League players as his 30-day rehab assignment would have run out as of Saturday July 30.
