DUNEDIN, Fl.–Toronto Blue Jays RHP Casey Janssen (sore right forearm) threw 30-plus pitches on flat ground Thursday at the team’s Mattox Training Complex in Dunedin. “He looked good with no problems from 90-feet,” said Rick Langford team’s rehab pitching coordinator, “Today was his first day throwing.” On the 15-day DL back dated to June 15 Janssen has a 2-0 record this season with a 2.93 era and one save. Rick Langford from Bradenton, Florida pitched 11 years in MLB, 1 with Pittsburgh and the other 10 with Oakland and set the record of 230 consecutive errorless chances (over 142 games) for a pitcher.
