Stroman goes 4 2/3 Shutout Innings

(Below) Blue Jays right hander and probably opening day starter Marcus Stroman leaps off the mound after ending the top of the fourth with a strike out as the Jays beat the Red Sox 2-1 in 10 innings.  Stroman, who a year ago was on crutches after tearing his left knee up doing PFP drills, threw 4 2/3 innings of shutout ball.  He allowed three hits and struck out four for the longest outing by a Jays pitcher so far this spring.  Jon Berti knocked in the winning run on the bottom of the 10th with a bases loaded single to center with none away scoring Andy Burns.  The Jays make the five mile road trip on Saturday to Brighthouse Field in Clearwater for a 1:05 game against the Phillies.
